SAFEcontractor and CHAS accreditation's both meet the Charter Standards and go above the Core Criteria demonstration of competence for contractor requirements, as highlighted within Appendix 4 of the Approved Code of Practice of The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (Pub: L144 - Managing Health and Safety in Construction - available from HSE Books). In addition to this, the SAFE contractor scheme not only meets the 14 set requirements for contractor/consultant competence assessment, the scheme also requests additional proof of documentation specifically for the activities for which the contractor/consultant is looking to gain accreditation. These accreditations, supported by sufficient insurances, afford Ora's clients the benefit of being fully supported in the projects they undertake.
